We are specialist dealers and auctioneers of British comics, annuals and related items. Having been collectors ourselves of The Beano & The Dandy comics & annuals for fifteen years, it is encouraging to see the increasing growth of interest in these titles and British comics in general, a trend which we hope continues.

Since our launch in 2001, phil-comics has built up an enviable trading reputation in vintage British comics & annuals, on eBay, and to complement our auctions we launched our website, phil-comics.com, in May 2006.

From this site you can be directed to our live auctions, find out how to use our auction services or sell your items directly to us. You can also browse our auction results archive, from 2003.

As collectors ourselves, we recognise first hand the excitement of seeking out the most elusive of items and, of equal importance, filling more general gaps in a collection. To satisfy our customers’ demands, we are constantly seeking single items to entire collections, both large and small, to offer at auction. We run a mailing list in which email notifications are sent out to collectors on listing batches of auctions; please see our Contact page for more details.

In August 2006, following discussions with D.C. Thomson & Co., Ltd, we proudly launched The Beano & Dandy Collectors' Club, which has so far proved a great success. The club is the first and only of its kind dedicated to vintage issues of The Beano and The Dandy and highly recommended for all fans.

Aimed at a wide audience of comic book collectors, general enthusiasts and vendors alike, we hope the site offers you something of interest.
